The corresponding terms in the Fallow deer (Dama vulgaris) are Fawn, Pricket, Sorrel, Soare, Buck of the first head, Complete buck. The young of the Roe (Capreolus capraea) is termed a Kid, and becomes successively a Gird and a Hemuse.
