In House of Commons, that the House may go into a Committee of the whole House, presided over by a Chairman of Committee of Ways and Means. The order of the day having been read, the Speaker puts the question, " That I do now leave the chair." If this be agreed to, the Speaker leaves the chair, the mace is removed, and the Committee begins its sitting.
