[Latin] An eminence. E. articularis, a rounded process of bone lying in front of the glenoid fossa of the temporal bone. E. collateralis, an eminence between the posterior and middle horns of the lateral ventricle, separating the hippocampus from the calcar, E. digitalis, the calcar. E. Falloppii, a ridge on the inner wall of the tympanum, indicating the situation of the facial nerve. E. pyramidalis, the pyramid of the middle ear.
