A German novelist and poet, born at Ratibor, Aug. 18, 1859. Married to Major von Adlersfeld in 1884, she has lived at Karlsruhe since 1889. Of her novels may be mentioned: "Lady Melusine" (1878); "The Falconers of Falcon Court" (1890). A collection of lyrics, "Drops in the Ocean" (1878), a romantic poem, "Raoul the Page" (1881), and the drama "A Meteor" (1880), bear witness to her poetic talent.
