There is a mineral spring at Stafford, in this State, twenty-four mile from Hartford, which has obtained more celebrity than any one in New England. Its principal ingredients are iron and carbonic acid. It, consequently, belongs to the class of acidulous chalybeates. There are other springs in the State, of which, however, little that is accurate is known.
